Product Introduction
In the aluminum alloy melting and casting process, degassing and purification are required. During the purification process, a degassing rotor is required to introduce gas and rotate and stir. Graphite material has become the first choice material for making degassing rotors due to its material properties of high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high strength, and non-wetting with aluminum melt. The degassing rotor made of graphite material is a graphite rotor.
Precautions for using graphite rotors: 1. The general service life is required to be more than one month. Compared with its non-oxidation-resistant graphite rotor, it is 3-4 times more durable. It can last up to 55-65 days at about 700 ℃, and 25-35 days at temperatures above 1000 ℃. With an anti-oxidation protective coating on the surface, the service life can be extended to 50-60 days. 2. Before the graphite rotor is immersed in the aluminum liquid, it should be preheated for 5min~10min at about 100mm above the liquid level to prevent the impact of rapid cooling on the material; gas must be introduced before the rotor is immersed in the liquid: the supply can be stopped only after the rotor is lifted out of the liquid surface. air to prevent the air holes of the rotor nozzle from being blocked. 3. The rotating nozzle is made of high-purity graphite. In addition to breaking up the bubbles, the structure of the nozzle also uses the centripetal force generated by stirring the aluminum alloy melt so that the melt enters the nozzle and mixes evenly with the horizontally ejected gas to form a gas. / Liquid flow sprays out to increase the contact area and contact time between bubbles and aluminum alloy liquid to improve the degassing and pollution effect.
